Scientific Discovery

Schmidt Ocean Institute

The Brief:  Glass Engine collaborated on the visual storytelling of a historic scientific breakthrough - the discovery of a 500-meter-tall detached coral reef in the Great Barrier Reef, the first of its kind found in over 120 years. Working alongside Schmidt Ocean Institute and International scientists, our role was to create compelling video, photo content that captured the scale, significance, and impact of this discovery during the scientific mission, bringing it to global audiences. We also were involved in deep ocean livestreams.

Through high-quality visual production and strategic storytelling, we translated complex scientific findings into an engaging narrative, reinforcing the importance of deep-sea exploration and marine conservation.
